Mandalas are geometric configurations. Symbols to many people and cultures. They function to provide a focus for spiritual guidance, establishing a place to aid in meditation. Mandalas are particularly known in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Shintoism.
Each of these mandala images was created from one of my photographs, varying in subject matter from water condensation to fruit, fossils and patterns created from pottery, rust, leaves and grease.
